Bhadra River

Description:

About 250 kms Nouth west of Bangalore, the Bhadra flows of the slopes of the western ghats to meet the river Tungha to form the Tungabhadra. The stretch that we paddled was a 11.5 km long section about 26 kms from the town Balehonnur. There are commercial operations on this section run by a Bangalore based adventure group called "Capture".
